[ The feed turns on shakily to show Sakura, with her usual smile on her face, sitting in a patch of grass. Anyone familiar with the layout of Violet can tell that she's sitting between the Gym and the PokeMart. She has her backpack pulled into her lap and open. ]

Hi everyone! I made it to Cherrygrove, but there really isn't much there. So Kero-chan and I traveled until we reached Violet. It was a long walk, but the view was really nice, too. [ She looks towards her right for a moment. ] I was thinking about getting a job at the PokeMart. I really want to get the money to buy an egg. Is there anybody else who works at the PokeMart in Violet?

And thank you to everyone who helped me get here! [ Her smile brightens into a grin. ] All of your advice was very useful. Okay, Kero-chan, you can turn it off now.

[ The feed shakes and spins away from Sakura before turning off. ]

[ Action ]

[ Sakura is walking around Violet, exploring her surroundings. She's holding hands with her Teddiursa, who's acting quite shy and trying to hide behind her legs every time somebody comes near. It's not very effective, since he comes up to her waist. She, on the other hand, is greeting everyone she passes with a bright smile and a cheerful hello! ]

[ Here, have someone your age! She's wearing her hat and the Pokémart employee uniform, so she might not look like much of a girl right now. She is, however, coming out the rear entrance of the Pokémart and peering in Sakura's direction, having seen the video on the network. ]

Yo!

[ She jumps a bit in surprise, obviously not expecting someone to come up from behind. She turns and looks up while Kero-chan tries to shove the 'Gear back into her bag.

Her surprised look melts back into a warm smile. ]

Hello! [ Eyeing Miyuki's uniform, and then the building beside them. ] Did you just come from the Pokémart?

Yep! I work there, doing stock and stuff. It doesn't suck.

[ She gives Kero-chan a brief and disinterested look before she sits down on a crate at the corner of the Pokémart building. ]

Oh. I'm not sure I'd be very good at doing stock.... [ Not that she's very picky about what job she has. She can learn what she needs to to do the job. ] Do you know of any other places I could work here?

[ A shrug. ] Well, you could be a cashier... or if you wanted, there's a couple restaurants and stuff around here that might need, like, waitresses.

[ She glances toward her bag. ] Somebody on the PokeGear mentioned Cosplay Cafes....

[ She makes a face and laughs a little, but it's good-natured. ]

I bet they have Pokémon-themed cosplay cafés around here. You'd make a pretty cute Jigglypuff, I guess.

[ She giggles a bit. ] I think I might do that, then.

[ At the very least, she's used to wearing costumes. ]

How old are you, anyway? I think most of the girls working in those places are older than us.

I'm eleven. [ She pauses. ] Really? I don't know much about cosplay cafes.

Yeah, I think they're usually in highschool, at least, but I dunno. I've never really been to one. [ She shrugs. ] I'm ten.

Oh. Hopefully, they'll let me work there, anyway. [ She smiles. ] I'm Kinomoto Sakura, by the way.

Well, hey, they let ten-year-olds go on adventures all over the region with dangerous monsters. [ She laughs. ] I'm Chitose Miyuki.

[ She giggles. ] That's true. It's nice to meet you!

You, too! [ Cheerful! ] Are you here with anyone, or is it just you?

[ She shakes her head. ] It's just me and Kero-chan. [ She looks at the Teddiursa, who is now trying to be out of sight behind her bag. It isn't working. ]

[ She peers over at Kero and waves, grinning. ]

Yeah, it's just me, too. I guess there's some of my brother's friends here, but I'm traveling alone, anyway.

But your brother's not here?

Nope. He's probably lazing around back home. [ She laughs. ]

[ She giggles. ] I don't think my brother is here, either. He's probably back at home working. Or being mean.

Hehe, looks like it's just us girls, then! We've gotta stick together!

Right! [ Especially through those dark scary caves... ]

I'm gonna be hanging around here until I can beat the gym leader, and after that, I'll probably go on to the next town. Wanna come with?

[ She agrees with almost no hesitation. ]

Really? Yes! That would be great.

Cool! Hope you're ready to rough it, sis. You're not too much of a girly-girl, are you?
