[ The feed opens up to a battle. The 'Gear is higher up than usual, level with the low branches of the trees. It's a bit shaky, due to being held by Tomo the Lediant, but it's not too bad. Standing near the line of trees almost directly below is Sakura. Her hands are clenched to her chest and she looks fiercely determined. A few feet in front of her is Kero-chan the Teddiursa. He delivers the finishing blow to a Magikarp, looking quite triumphant and a heck of a lot more confident than he usually does. ]

Aha! Good job, Kero-chan! [ Sakura's voice is as excited and cheerful as ever.

Tomo lands next to her. The 'Gear shakes for several seconds before steadying again. When it trains back on Kero-chan, he's glowing brightly. ]

Oh! Kero-chan's evolving!

[ The growing mass gets bigger and bigger. When it finally fades, an Ursaring is in its place. ]

You're so big now!

[ Kero-chan lets out a roar of excitement. He picks Sakura up in his arms and spins her around. She's giggling when he sets her down, seeming completely unharmed.

Upon seeing the 'Gear, Kero-chan blinks in surprise. Then he proceeds to hide his 5'11" bulk behind Sakura's 4'4" frame.

Sakura glances toward the 'Gear and smiles. ]

Okay, Tomo. You can turn it off now.

[ The feed spins before going dark. ]

Uh-huh! [ She's grinning brightly. ] Ursarings are so big!

You must have! It is always a little surprising to see a small Pokemon like that grow into such a large Pokemon, that must have taken a lot of training.

It is! I knew he'd get big, but I didn't think he'd get this big. [ She nods. ] It did!

I am a little surprised to see that Kero became this big too. I still haven't learned all of the evolutions that Pokemon have.

Will he grow any bigger than this? Or is this his final form?

I don't think he will. [ She pauses. ] I hope he doesn't, at least! I don't know what I'd do if he got bigger.

The larger Pokemon are more difficult to travel with. They have to stay inside their Pokeballs a good deal of the time.

That's true! But some of them you can ride on! Like, I'll be able to ride on Toto, once he actually evolves into an Arcanine.

That is certainly useful. It makes traveling so much faster.

Uh-huh! Miyuki-chan and I can get to all the cities faster.

Now what kind of Pokemon is Miyuki-chan?

[ She giggles. ] Miyuki-chan isn't a Pokemon. She's my friend! We've been traveling together.

[What a mistake to make! ]

I'm sorry, I just assumed. I guess it was a good thing poor Miyuki-chan wasn't around to hear that.

[ Adorable! ]

Ara ara! Congratulations, Sakura, Kero-chan!

Oh my, he certainly is big.

Thank you! He's way bigger than me! He's still getting used to it. [ Proven by the fact that Kero-chan just smacked his head on a low-hanging limb. ]

Yes, he ... ara... Kero-chan? Are you alright?

[ Once Kero-chan realizes he's being talked do, he attempts to hide himself behind a tree. He's clearly visible, as the tree is skinny. But he does kind of wave a hand, a single that yes, he's fine. ]

Ah... Kero-chan's kind of shy.

[ Smiling. A very strange --- but cute Pokemon. ]

I see. Still, I hope we can be good friends.

Are you doing alright, Sakura?

Mhm! I'm doing great! And what about you? Are you doing okay?

I haven't either. I'm going to wait until I can get very, very strong before I start.
