[ The feed comes on to show a Minccino in the grass. It's batting at a small ball, chasing it around a pair of legs. Occasionally it trip and falls, but it always picks itself back up again.

Sakura's voice comes from behind the 'Gear. ]

Hi, everybody. I'm back in Violet. After, um, everything that happened, with the storms and stuff, I decided I wanted to go back and get all my badges. So I traveled all the way back here. It took forever.

[ The feed spins as she turns it to her face. She's smiling bright, like usual. ]

But we finally made it. Toto's really tired from the trip, though, so we're going to rest a while before taking on the gym leader. [ She bites her lip. ] I've never battled a gym leader before.... But I know we can do it!

Isn't that right, Yuki? [ She aims the 'Gear down again. The Minccino looks at it with big eyes and nods determinedly. ]

Wish us luck! [ Then the feed goes black. ]

Well, um... [...] ...Maybe you could beat him on raw power alone, since your Pokémon seem to be pretty well-leveled... I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

[Oh no, he didn't mean to--] You'll be fine, promise. Um-- Toto is your Arcanine, right? I bet he'll take care of them without a hitch.

[ She brightens a little at that. ] That's right! I'm sure Toto can do it.

As long as you believe in your Pokémon, you'll always win. Actually, I'm pretty sure that's the only thing I have going for me... I'm still surprised when we win against people, even wild Pokémon. [Pheww.] Are badges important, by the way?

Yes, everything will surely be alright. [ She giggles. ] It depends. Having certain badges makes it so you can use certain HMs out of battle, like Fly. But you don't have to get them.

It certainly sounds useful. I don't think I have any Pokémon that can fly yet, though.

Me either. But I plan on getting one soon. It'll be easier and faster than traveling on my Arcanine.

At least you have a Pokémon to ride. All of mine are too small to, and I'm starting to think it'll stay that way. Maybe I should invest in a bigger Pokémon.

All of my Pokemon used to be small. But then Kero-chan and Toto evolved and they got big.
